Lifetime Powertrain Protection protects your vehicle’s engine for life. After five years or 60,000 miles (whichever comes first), your vehicle’s original Toyota Powertrain Warranty expires. When this happens, your engine will still be covered under our Lifetime Powertrain Protection program.
Lifetime Powertrain Protection guarantees full coverage of your vehicle’s powertrain components and related internal parts for as long as you own the vehicle. Many parts of your vehicle’s powertrain are covered under this protection program, including:
- Engine parts: Cylinder block, head, and internal parts, intake manifold timing gears and gaskets, timing chain/belt and cover, flywheel, valve covers, oil pan, oil pump, engine mounts, factory-installed turbocharger/supercharger housing, and internal parts, engine control computer, water pump, seals and gaskets.
- Transmission & Transaxle: Case and internal parts, torque converter, clutch cover, transmission mounts, transfer case and internal parts, engine control computer, seals and gaskets.
- Rear Wheel Drive: Axle housing and internal parts, propeller shaft, u-joints, axle shaft, drive shaft, bearings, supports, seals and gaskets.
This means that when one of these components breaks or needs a repair, you can bring it to our service center and our team of technicians will fix the issue. Any repairs or replacements made to your vehicle’s powertrain will be covered under the Lifetime Powertrain Protection.
How Do You Get Lifetime Powertrain Protection?
Most of our Toyota vehicles are covered by our Lifetime Powertrain Protection program. If you have a used vehicle: Bring your vehicle to our service department every 5,000 miles, and we will change your oil and rotate the tires.
